ARTISTS:
Peggy Atkinson - Delightful and colorful pet portraints in oil on canvas. You may purchase from the gallery, or contact Peggy through us to commission her to an oil of your very own dog, cat, turtle, ostrich, tiger, well, maybe with a photo!
Colette Brooks - Oil on Canvas. Colette does such a variety of work that it's hard to pin down any particular subject matter. Suffice it to say that everything she does is grand. From a bicycle leaning against a rail in Scotland that has won three national awards, to the famed Eiffel tower, all of her painting are powerful.
Carol Broere - Carol is an eclectic artist, leaning primarily toward high quality raku and pottery. She does, however, have a whimsicle side, and has been known to form bright red roosters that rattle, yellow fish with feathers, and fat green toads resting on lily pads, so you really need to look around the gallery to take in the scope of her imagination. It is wonderful indeed.
John Browne - Oil/Acrylic on Canvas. John is, again, one of those artists who is totally unpredictable. From the restrained to the unforgettable, his talent is very, very cool indeed. His latest offering is three orange fish, named, appropriately, Fin-Again Orange.
Bonnie Crouch - Watercolor. Bonnie's watercolors are bright and lively, and bring a dash of sunshine into any room into any room in the home. She also works magic with her "string paintings" which are amazing. She first paints the watercolor, which she takes to the yarn shop to select matching embroidery thread. She then duplicates the watercolor painting onto the fabric using tiny french-knots of the correlating color, wrought by hand. This would be hundreds of french-knots. Ladies, those of you who have done embroidery, and have done french-knots, know the difficulty of the little stitch, now multiply them by hundreds. Need I say more? These works of art are treasures.
Judy Deist - Wildlife Photographer, Judy is a retired veterinarian, and has photographed many of her subjects on cattle and wild pony round-ups. Often by horseback. Some of her subjects were her patients, some she came across in her travels, some are sweet to look at, and some downright ferocious, but all are interesting and the skill and composition are wonderful.
Ken DeMary - Natural Gemstones. What more needs to be said? Nature's own perfect art.
Peggy Dietz - International Photographer. This Irish lady is fun to be around and her artwork is amazing. She hasn't limited her artwork to Ireland, but I do believe that it's her favorite!
Richard Dotson - Dreamscapes in Oil on Canvas. Richard often includes florals, birds, water, ice and sky in his work. His colors lean toward the seasons, lately with bright springlike pastels....but, there is a secret...can you find the face?
Sandy Early - Beautiful vases styled after Aspen trees; Raku pots; pure silver jewelry. Sandy's vases are well known in Colorado, as are her Raku pieces. She has just begun forming the jewelry, but from the looks of it, it will also be a hit amoung those who are crazy about her other pieces.
Naomi Edelberg Janches - Stained glass of her own creation and design, this is NOT your usual stained glass. Naomi has created glass for both the home and for commercial buildings, and is very well know in the commercial design world. You may view her work in two story sections in banks and hotels from Dallas to New York. We are fortunate indeed to represent some of her smaller pieces at Grace Gallery. She is open to commission work.
Erica Fry - Pen and Ink / Silkscreen designs from small 3 inch by 3 inch to large 24 foot pieces. Erica can also photograph a person or pet, draw designs around and about and make lovely graphics for your wall or desk.
Marge McMonagle Goedert - Watercolor. Marge paints everything from landscapes to tiny young cowboys and indians, and littls skiers too!
Katy Haas - Wire figures. From her nude male and female figures to her mountain animals, they are a delight. Her newest is the expectant mom, with the babe inside mommie's tummy, sucking it's thumb, just like it would in real life. Amazing.
Maureen Hearty - Maureen makes whimsicle garden art that is so much fun you have to see it to believe it. One of the favorites is her three toed sloth climbing up the steel tree, trying to reach a couple of shiny ceramic "fruit". Can't you see it in your garden?
John Homyak - John heats steel to until it it is red and malleable, uses handmade hammers to create raised designs into the steel (a process called repousse) and hangs the pieces onto handcrafted posts for garden art. His simple designs are crafted to spin on the breeze and are quite eye catching and fun. I believe they'd even keep the squirrels away from your veggies....well, maybe.
Linda Lugenbill - Using cominations of color and material, Linda makes baskets that are both utilitarian and a delight to the eye. She collects materials, dyes the materials if needed and intertwines feathers, reeds, horne, and vine, Linda's creations are vastly popular, and sell about as quickly as she brings them in, so come in often for first choice of her design in basketry.
